Q: How much food should I order?
A: This is a good question and one that gets asked quite a bit, there isn’t one correct rule when ordering but we have come up with some good guidelines that should help.
3 items per person – this amount would be good for a morning tea, afternoon tea or similar light event.
3-4 items per person – this would be recommended for a light bite to eat. Our platters are the perfect size for this option with most platters having 4 items per person.
5-8 items per person – this amount would be recommended for a grazing type event where food is required for a longer period of time or when a more substantial amount of food is required.
A mix of platters and individual items works well and gives you the flexibility to choose different items.
If you are requiring an amount of food equal to a full meal please give us a call to discuss further on 0800 PLATTERS.
We have lots of different options and can assist with selecting a menu that would suit your requirments.
